Students in Mrs. Bridges' first grade class, and Mr. Berger's fifth grade class worked together on a sound lesson over the past three days. The final activity was for students to make a sound code, having objects represent a letter to spell a word using only sounds.
Miss Indie - a therapy dog, visited AGR today, shown here in Mrs. Minavio's 1st grade class. It looks like students are hugging themselves, but they are actually showing what to do if a strange dog is ever near them, they need pretend they're a tree and put their head down.
Congratulations to Grayson Cox, Ian Balino, and Kaedyn Sutherland - our spelling bee participants from last night. We are proud to announce that Grayson took 1st place, and Ian took 2nd place. Thanks to Mrs. Marini for all her work in preparing for the bee. Congratulations!!

A few recent activities from Mrs. McFarland's 1st Graders; reviewing repeating patterns into growing patterns. Students created repeating patterns for the core, while learning and using the names of 3 new shapes. Also house and tree stem projects done before winter break.
