
Culpeper County Schools will open 2 hours late today, Thursday, September 26, 2024 due to road conditions.. Essential personnel report on time, all other personnel report 2 hours late.


On Tuesday, Mrs. Aylor's 2nd Graders worked on extending increasing patterns. On Wednesday, they experimented with liquids (glue, paint, and water) to see which ones "moved" faster. Water was the fastest, and paint the slowest. Most students thought glue would be the slowest.





This morning, our wonderful PAC committee treated our staff to a wonderful staff breakfast. We appreciate all your efforts and support!



Kindergarten Color Weeks kick off on Monday! Some students will read poems about the colors - email Mr. Ortman (mortman@ccpsweb.org) for the link to view these. Here's the lineup:
Mon. Sept. 30 - Red, Tuesday Oct. 1 - Orange, Wednesday - Yellow, Thursday - Green, Friday -Blue!

Today, Mrs. Sheads' 5th Graders used graham crackers and water to demonstrate two types of convergent boundaries. Ocean plates getting subducted under continental, and also how mountain ranges can form. #BulldogPride

AGR 4th graders in Mrs. Birch's class listened intently to Stephanie DeNicola, who comes from the Culpeper soil and water conservation district, to discuss what they have learned about watersheds. She will visit each fourth grade class today and tomorrow.
