Memorandum of Understanding between CULPEPER COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS and the CULPEPER COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
The Code of Virginia requires that the school board in each school division in which the local law enforcement agency employs school resource officers shall enter into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with such local law enforcement agency that sets forth the powers and duties of such school resource officers.
The Culpeper County School Board and the Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office are in the process of reviewing the MOU and invite the public to provide input now through Friday, September 6, 2024.
