Culpeper County Public Schools proudly hosted its annual county-wide Math 24 competition, coinciding with the mathematical celebration of Pi Day on Thursday, March 14, 2024. This eagerly anticipated event not only showcases the skills of young mathematicians but also underscores the significance of numerical fluency and problem-solving skills in our education system.

The Math 24 competition serves as an engaging platform for students to delve into the intricate relationships between numbers while honing their mathematical accuracy and fluency. Aptly named "mathletes," participants from third, fourth, and fifth grades representing each of the county's six elementary schools showcased their arithmetic agility and strategic thinking throughout the competition.

The event unfolded across two rounds of competition, culminating in a final round where the top eight contenders fiercely vied for the coveted titles of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
