Culpeper County Public Schools is pleased to announce two exciting upcoming events for the weekend of March 9 and 10, 2024. The 5th Annual Maker Energy Faire is scheduled for Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Culpeper Technical Education Center (CTEC) and the 20th Annual CCPS Art Show will be at the Germanna Daniel Technology Center the same weekend!
The Maker Energy Faire is free and open to all ages and will take place from 10am to 2pm at CTEC (17441 Frank Turnage Drive, Culpeper) . This exciting event features a variety of hands-on and make-and-take activities for the whole family, including Legos, green screen movie magic, a cupcake bar, and 3D printing of your own designs. Incredible door prizes and drones will also be highlights of the event. Food trucks will be on site for attendees to enjoy.
The 20th Annual CCPS Art Show will be held on the same weekend, providing visitors with the opportunity to appreciate the artistic talents of students across all of our schools. The gallery will be open on Saturday, March 9, from 11am to 3pm, and Sunday, March 10, from 11am to 2pm, at the Germanna Community College Daniel Technology Center (18121 Technology Dr, Culpeper, VA 22701).
On Saturday, March 9, the two events will take place side by side, offering a great opportunity to experience two amazing, free CCPS events in one day.
