CCPS Mathematics
The Mathematics Standards of Learning identify essential academic content at each grade level for sequential learning. The content of the mathematics standards supports the following five goals for students: becoming mathematical problem solvers, communicating mathematically, reasoning mathematically, making mathematical connections and using mathematical representations to model and interpret practical situations. Virginia's 2023 Mathematics Standards Approved
On August 31, 2023 the Virginia Board of Education approved the 2023 Math Standards of Learning. These will be fully implemented during the 2024-2025 school year. You may see the 2023 Math Standards of Learning on the VDOE math website along with other information about math instruction in Virginia.
