Good Evening Yowell Families,

This is Mrs. Fiscus with your weekly update. I am beyond excited for this week and I bet many of you are too! It is the week of our school musical The Jungle Book. The cast and crew of The Jungle Book have worked so hard since early fall to prepare for this weekend. I can promise you this is a show that you want to bring your family to. The show is free of charge and you'll have multiple opportunities to see the show at Eastern View High School: Friday 6pm, Saturday 2pm, and 6pm. We would love for all our Stallions to come out and see the show. Hopefully, this will plant a seed in the minds and hearts of our youngest Stallions to one day be in the show. Huge thank you to Mrs. Dugger, Mrs. Korona, and Mrs. Pratt for their tireless work to make this show a memorable experience for our students.

Annual renewal applications for current Out of Zone (OOZ) students requesting to attend Yowell next year are being accepted for consideration now. You must apply online by Sunday, March 31st using the appropriate link. **This year we have had an increase of both in zone and out of zone student enrollment. It is imperative that current out of zone students maintain good attendance as outlined in the OOZ policy to best protect your enrollment at Yowell. We will consider the OOZ both initial and new along with enrollment over the summer.

In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.

We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.

We are happy to have a School Resource Officer (SRO) this year at Yowell. You can contact Deputy Mack with any concerns you have with school safety or anything that would be related to criminal activity.
