Students in Mrs. Miglino's class know that learning can be fun! Her fourth grade friends worked on improving observation skills, processing speed, math skills and social skills while playing "Spot It!"
Ms. Green's 2nd-grade reading class learned about the election process. The students listened to 2 stories, wrote and presented campaign speeches, filled out their voter registration cards, and voted for Duck or Grace to be president!

Students in Mrs. Gray's 5th grade class reviewed their Order of Operations in a fun Breakout box with Mrs. Dannon! Students worked hard to solve each problem to figure out the clues to unlock all 5 locks!
Mrs. Postlethwait’s 4th and 5th grade Math students had the opportunity to practice math fluency facts in a fun and competitive way using 99 Math.
Students in Ms. Epstein’s 2nd grade class had the opportunity to learn about the Eastern Woodlands from a Jamestown presenter!

Mrs. Houser's first graders enjoyed creating turkeys for the 60th day of school. As they added the dots on the turkey feathers, they practiced skip counting by 2. They really get excited when they can be artistic and creative during math class. Gobble, Gobble!

Mrs. Sawicki’s 3rd grade class enjoyed learning about mummies and pyramids. Ancient Egypt is always a fun topic.
Students in Mrs. Noll and Mrs. Lindsey's classes have been hosting a Friday coffee cart for teachers. With the money their coffee cart raised, the classes took a field trip to Graves Mountain, where they picked apples and pumpkins. With the apples they picked, they made Hot Buttered Apples. Yum!
Mrs. Quartararo’s 4th grade class starts each day with class affirmations! It gets their mindsets ready for the best day ever!

Students in Ms. St. John's fifth grade class have been practicing dividing decimals by creating pixel art! Students typed their answers into a google sheet and correct answers generate a cool pixel image!
On Friday, 2nd grade visited Graves Mountain. Mrs. Dean's class enjoyed a hayride through a pumpkin patch! They also had the opportunity to learn about life cycles and seasonal changes.
Student's in Ms. Dutton's third grade class got to watch the police officers fly a drone on their field trip to tour the Police Department.
Students in Ms. Schramm's 2nd grade class had the opportunity to Skype a scientist all the way from Miami to learn all about hurricanes and weather from an expert!
Students in Mrs. Dodd's Kindergarten class have been working on number identification with math games!
Mrs. Smoot's 4th grade artists have been practicing their perspective and color value skills in art class!
