The boys and girls wrestling teams did great this weekend in Tennessee. Ibrahim won his weight class and didn't give up a single takedown all tournament. Riley took 2nd, Jax and Jason took 4th. All three girls placed with Maddie Vaden and Allison Gabarrete taking 2nd and Allison Csontos taking 3rd. Boys finished 12th out of 33 teams and girls finished 4th out of 24. #BDP #BetterEveryDay #ForksUp

The JV and women's wrestling teams headed to Richmond today and came back with some hardware! Saul took 1st and Allison G. 3rd. We had 4 make the semifinals and 7 made the consi semifinals. Great day for our team and a solid way to finish the competition portion of 2023!

The CCHS Fine Arts Winter Spectacular was…SPECTACULAR!
These are the top scorers for the Literary Challenge Meet # 2. These students earned the highest scores for their respective grade levels by reading and answering difficult analysis questions for selected short readings.
Ninth and tenth graders read and completed a comparative analysis of two poems about war: "Dulce Et Decorum Est," by Wilfred Owen, and "The Naming of Parts," by Henry Reed.
Eleventh and twelfth graders read and analyzed the nonfiction essay, "To Be Honest," by Jeffrey A. Lockwood.
