Culpeper County High School held their junior/senior prom Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Germanna’s Daniel Tech Center. Senior students Jason Andrix and Emerson Brown were crowned Prom King and Queen. This year’s prom theme for CCHS was “One Enchanted Evening” with fairy-tale garden decor.

Three hundred and fifty three students attended this formal event. Greenery, fresh flowers, and candles decorated the space. The DJ and lighting designer was Ian Chini from I&L’s DJing & Event Production. AK Expressions 360 Photo Booth ran a 360 degree video photo booth for the event.

The dessert table, by local business BobbiLee’s Homemade Treats, offered chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels, as well as cake-pops and cupcakes. A special lounge was rented from Bride & Joy Weddings, also from Culpeper. Pastor Aaron Judkins, from Lifepoint Church, graciously set up and lent the pipe and drapes to help dress the room.

Tracie Young, the prom sponsor who is new to Culpeper County Public Schools, said she “thoroughly enjoyed the process of working with students to design and create such a memorable event.” Senior student Grace Shillingburg and junior Bailey Rice were the lead students responsible for prom.
