Happy Last Day of School! Mrs. Adkins provided a special treat to Mrs. Bridges’ 1st grade class to celebrate all of their hard work this year!

After a graphing lesson in Mrs. McFarland’s class, students celebrated a “happy” last day of school with “happy” meals from McDonalds!! Can you guess which choice got the fewest and the most number of responses? Hustle and Heart Set Us Apart!! ❤️

Mrs. Aylor's 2nd graders had different stations; build your name, different challenges involving Legos, and math (fractions, doubles, patterns.) What a great way to apply mathematical thinking!

Thanks to all the parents and family who joined us for promotion ceremonies over the past few days. Kindergarten - 5th Grade (including the separate picture slideshow) are available to be shared. Please email Mr. Ortman and let him know which you would like. mortman@ccpsweb.org

Ms.C's 3rd Grade class is making their own board games. They are designing the boards and coming up with some great science and math questions. These students are super creative! @Hasbro, @Mattel, are you watching?

This year's final robo call!

So many thanks to the so many volunteers who took time out of their busy schedules to join AGR students and present about their careers for Career Day. Organized by counselor Mrs. Morrison, students chose 3 different careers to learn about. What a fun day!

Our amazing PAC once again provided us with quite a treat. I mean, just look at this spread! in addition to lunch, they also did prize giveaways with 10 staff members winning gift cards! Thanks so much!

AGR 3rd grade wrapped up their Economics Unit with Market Day. Students worked in groups to create a product, marketing posters, and sold their products to fellow 3rd graders. This activity was the culmination of the unit on Economics. Hustle and Heart Set Us Apart!

Pictured are students in Miss Manning's 4th Grade class planting a Memorial Garden for the late Christin Funderburk. The garden can be found in the loop in front of the building, under the flagpole. Hustle, and Heart, Set Us Apart.

What an amazingly relaxing day from our PAC committee! From a relaxation room to free yoga/tai chi lessons, staff were pampered. Thank you!!

There are mountains of lost jackets, sweatshirts, and other items from students. If you plan to visit AGR between now and the end of the year, for celebrations, awards ceremonies, etc. please stop by the foyer to claim these items. They will be donated if not claimed. Thank you!

Who said reading review wasn't fun? AGR 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders partnered up today to complete a reading escape the room.
It was incredible to see the 5th graders take the lead and include their team members in every challenge! Hustle and Heart Set Us Apart!
